Storage Product Scope
Projects may include deck boxes, outdoor cabinets, horizontal storage units, compact prefab lockers, and other consumer products that do not require a structural foundation.

Surface and Placement
A reasonably level surface helps doors and lids align.
The product should not block drainage, gates, HVAC equipment, utility access, or required service clearances.
Assembly
Panels, floors, doors, roofs, shelves, and hardware are assembled according to the manufacturer sequence.
Resin parts should not be forced when tabs or slots are misaligned; the frame should be checked first.
Anchoring
Some products include anchors or tie-down points.
Anchoring should follow the product design and site conditions. Concrete work or custom foundations are separate.
Tall storage cabinets may also need a restraint method if the manufacturer provides one. The surrounding wall, fence, slab, or deck should not be used as an attachment point unless the product and supporting structure are suitable for that connection.
Access to lids, doors, shelves, and service areas should be checked after final placement so the storage unit does not create a new obstruction on the patio or side yard.
